What's Happening at Saratoga High School?

Greg Louie is the Principal of Saratoga High School, beginning this past July after serving the Santa Teresa High School community for 15 years as Principal, Associate Principal of Education, and Associate Principal for Administrative Services.  Prior to that, Greg served the Silver Creek High School community as Activities Director, English and Science teacher, and football and baseball coach.  

Greg was a member of the Class of 2017 Leadership San Jose Cohort #BestClassEver and served as a panel member for conferences at the 1440 Foundation regarding Social-Emotional practices in the school community.

Married for the past 15 years to a fellow Silver Creek High School graduate, Greg is a father of a 9th grade aged son who attends Pioneer High School and a 7th grade aged daughter who attends John Muir Middle School.

As a product and an advocate of public education, Greg is passionate about serving school communities with an emphasis towards social-emotional teaching and learning and equity based practices that will benefit all students.  Currently, Greg is working with his staff, Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District leadership and other area Principals to support distance learning practices and policies during a pandemic.
