Back-to-School backpack drive for Family Giving Tree

It is time for our annual Back-to-School backpack drive for Family Giving Tree.
The gift of a supply-filled backpack assures that children from families struggling financially in our community begin school with the tools necessary to engage in their learning, do their homework, and succeed. Please visit the Family Giving Tree website to learn more about their work- Home. 
 
This year we are having a virtual drive. Family Giving Tree buys in bulk, so our dollars go twice as far. There are many options from single complete backpacks to proving backpacks to a whole classroom and anywhere in between! Please click here to donate: backpacksmiles.org/saratogarotary.
This year, the goal is to ensure that 35,000 students across the Bay Area are equipped with everything they need to begin the school year successfully.
  
You can participate in 3 different ways:
  1. Use this link and purchase items online- backpacksmiles.org/saratogarotary
  2. Write a check to Family Giving Tree- I can deliver it for you 
  3. Volunteer at Family Giving Tree
Join us and volunteer Wednesday July 23 from 10AM-12PM, July 28 from 12:30-2:30PM, or July 31 from 12:30-2:30PM. We have 15 total slots to fill. 
It’s well organized, spacious, fun, and good for all ages.
