At our club meeting on October 7, 2022, our members got together to assemble care packages for our troops serving overseas. Members wrote thank-you cards at a previous meeting. These cards were put into individual care packages with food and hygiene products. These packages were delivered to the Operation Care & Comfort group in San Jose to be shipped to our troops. We assembled 300 packages with supplies including chocolates, granola bars, popcorn, jerky, hot chocolate, Gatorade, hand warmers, and hygiene products.
