We are pleased to report that on February 20 the SRCF board met and approved 5 grants for a total of $34,357. The recipients are:
- Animal Assisted Happiness- The grant will fund mobile barnyard buddies visits to youth with developmental disabilities.
- Cancer CAREpoint- provide grocery and gas gift cards to lowest income, immunocompromised clients.
- Grateful Garments-provide emergency resources (clothing, toiletries, food, etc.) for victims of sexual violence after they have undergone a forensic examination.
- Silicon Valley Shakespeare- new LED lights to replace 30-year-old incandescent lights
- Via Services- a regulation pool fence. Via Services empowers people of all ages with disabilities to thrive by providing skill-building, therapeutic, and recreational programs.
This is all made possible by the Art Show and donations to SRCF.
