Happy New Year! I hope everyone has had a great holiday season and is excited for 2026.
Our bulletin this month has a nice overview of our activities over the past year, so make sure to check it all out!
We certainly have a great year planned for our club. It starts with our Friday meetings, where we have the following speakers scheduled for this month:
January 9: Heath Rocha, Superintendent of Los Gatos Saratoga Union High School District — State of the District: Los Gatos Saratoga High School District
January 16: Michael Hirsh, Executive Director of South Bay Musical Theatre — What's it takes to put on a musical
January 23: Hector Estrada, Assistant Chief of Fire Prevention, Santa Clara County Fire Dept — Fire Prevention Tips & Best Practices
January 30: Kim Miller, Executive Director of Southwest YMCA — Latest & Greatest & the Saratoga YMCA
But that’s not all. We have other activities this month, including:
Our networking dinner this month at Hong’s on January 8th, which may be past as you read this, but we will continue these every second Thursday going forward as well.
The Walking Group at West Valley meets up every Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30AM in the City Hall Parking lot for an easy stroll through beautiful West Valley College.
We continue to support the West Valley Community Services Park-It Markets on alternate Wednesdays, the 7th and 21st this month, let Terrie Creamer and/or Cathie Thermond know if you can join.
There are no scheduled Fellowship events scheduled this month, so why not consider joining one of our committee meetings and helping us out with all the planning needed to help our club run smoothly. If you’re interested, then it’s best to contact one of the committee chairs to confirm meeting time and location. This is the best way you can become more involved and guide the direction of our club.
Looking forward to seeing everyone soon and having a great year!
